Hello Pat..I'm sorry about your loss and I hope you're doing ok considering...I've been there when I lost my mother and its quite a shick to your system no matter what your relationship was but at the end you get through it if you belive in prayer and the power of positive thinking and this means cherishing and thanking God for the good memories and lessons learnt from your relationship instead of thinking about the "if only"s or the "why"s becoz you most likely wont get useful answers to such questions. so be strong and start planning and anticipating good things to come and accepet that you have no control over any event in life its just a rollercoster-ride
