Big Upcoming Exterior Shoot!
Ok well according to sources, this is confirmed that the 7de Laan production team are working flat out to get ready for an exciting location shoot that will be filmed early next week. It is one of the biggest location shoots we have ever attempted and also promises to be one of the most exciting. 7deLaan.co.za confirms that they will be sure to have a photographer on set to make sure we get all the juicy behind the scenes pictures- which we will post as soon as they are avaliable!
Anywasy let's read between the lines here. In the world of 7de Laan exterior shoots are used, well as seen recently at either (A) a funeral - Aubrey's burial or (B) a wedding- Ryno and Emma's wedding. Well I doubt the writer's want to go down the route of killing someone off again, although the series is busy negotiating contracts for the next season, and I wonder who will make the axe... (ok well let's not get ahead of ourselves and think possitive!) I am hoping the 'Big Upcoming Exterior Shoot' will be used for a Wedding! I would love another Wedding in the Laan.
Ok now let's play the guessing game and guess who's Wedding they are going to film. But before I start let me remind you that shooting is done 2.5 - 3 Months before aired on our screens meaning the storyline is already in place, so in other words it could the most random couple like Mandla and Zinzi (for instance), but then and again this is 7de Laan- anything's possible. The timespan between engagement proposal and Wedding's are short!
Couple #1: George and Karien
After undergoing so much, these two, who by the way have Wed in real life and make such a great couple, deserve their 'Happily Ever After' ! Since meeting, they have been plagued with problems such as Cobus, Karien's murdering pyscho father, then Karien left and came back unannounced while George was moving on with his life, then he went back to Karien, whose eyes wondered to his best pal Zac and there began a love triangle which nearly tore the two (George and Karien) apart. Tanie Schoeman then Zac leaves, and enter crazy Sonia who harrases Karien and want's George at all costs- even if it means making Karien believe she's crazy! Yeah I know they starting to sound like they should jump ship to soapi, Days of Our Lives (SABC 3) because of their wierd-ness and obstacles this couple has been through. But the fact remains, they have made it through all of that and thier love is still strong and glowing and not to mention growing. It make's all the perfect sense for Wedding Bells to be ringing for them and one can only hope that 7de Laan writers will be Wedding this two- really soon!
Couple #2: Charmaine and Neville
These two proved that love has not age limit. And all went well till Daleen Meintijies, ex-wife of Neville showed up on the Laan and blew a Hurricane that left Neville and Charlemaine (as Oom Oubaas puts it) in a whirlwhind. Since then the two have not found themselves again. But currently, hoping that this ludacris baby killing drama will draw Neville and Charmaine close again and renew the engagement and and have a possible Wedding planned. All we can hope and pray is that Daleen Meintjies name is not on the Guest List.. or hell could just break loose!
Couple #3: Vince and Felicity / Xander and Felicity
Could the fight over the coventent Felicity Daniels be resolved? Did Felicity come to her senses and choose between Smart, Gentle and Loyal Xander or Jolling, Party Boy, Wild Child Vince? We don't know but all we do know is that one of them will be making thier way down the isle... well hopefully if the shoot is a marriage!
Things tells me that drama will await the Laaners on the Wedding day if Felicity married Vince as there will be a hot bridesmaid (probally Guest Starring Kim Nicholas, Jacqui the nurse) and Vince will say "I Don't" for marriage and "I Do" for batchelorhood. However we could have a fairytale wedding if Felicity weds Xander and it could be quite beautiful! Only time will tell though in which way Felicity's heart will travel!
Couple #4: Paula and Altus
They havent reconcilled yet in the present, but who knows what the future holds. The real question is will the writers want Paula to settle down and become a desperate housewife of boring middle class existence?
Couple #5: Zinzi & Kableo
We are allowed dreaming right? And this is 7de Laan where anything possible! Plus we don't know how different things will be in 2-3 Months. Maybe Zinzi and Kabelo share more than common interest in Napkin Folding.
I could also be completely off the mark and 7de Laan could be preparing to film a funeral / burial. I don't want to start guessing who'se dying (as that is bad Karama) but let's have stab in the dark!
Victim #1: Madel Terblanche
Madel was held hostage at her home in Westcliff by the deranged Sandra Stutterhiem who vowed revenge on her. Whilst the unexistant Evelina was off for then night, Dezi and Jan-Hendrik went to see a movie, Madel, home alone hears a burglar in the upstairs Guest Room, goes up to investigate and bang bang she's held hostage and the room is set a light (De Ja Vu!)

Whatever 7de Laan's BIG Exterior Shoot is we will add the photo's once avaliable, but till then join us in the guessing game and guess what the shoot's going to be all about!
