STARTING

SHOW: Freddie

Channel: GO Season: 1 Time: 18h00 Episodes: 22
Four women to every man are great odds when you're a single guy out on the town, but not ideal when it comes to your living situation.

Freddie Moreno is a young, successful chef with his own restaurant, a stylish bachelor pad and a trust fund baby for a best friend. The world should be Freddie's oyster at this stage in life, but bachelorhood isn't working out exactly as he envisioned.

Freddie loved growing up in a house full of women. He loved the energy of everyone running around, loved cooking for them all, but now he's finally realising why his father used to lock himself in the bathroom just for some peace and quiet.

Still, Freddie believes family always comes first, which is why he insisted his sister, sister-in-law, niece and grandmother come live with him after his brother passed away.

Slowly but surely they take over his domain, voicing their many opinions about his love life.

Freddie has to learn to balance his role as provider, brother, grandson and uncle, all while trying to enjoy what should be his swinging single days.

SHOW: Choice

Channel: SABC1 Season: 2 Time: 18h30 Episodes: 13
Choice offers a platform where real youth confront real issues. Youth from all corners of our country are challenged with very real and hard, wrenching dilemmas. We meet them at their homes. SHOW: The Evidence

Channel: Action X Season: 1 Time: 20h00 Episodes: 8
People Lie. The evidence doesn't. It is the foundation of every conviction. With evidence justice is possible. Without evidence, guilty men walk free. The Evidence puts a twist on standard police procedure.

The Evidence stars Rob Estes (Melrose Place, Silk Stalkings), Orlando Jones (The Replacements, Drumline, Evolution) and Academy Award winner Martin Landau (Ed Wood, Without a Trace, North by Northwest).

This character-driven detective series follows Inspector Sean Cole (Estes) and Inspector Caymen Bishop (Jones), two longtime partners in the San Francisco Police Department. The crucial evidence in each case is presented at the outset of the story. All of the pieces to the puzzle will be well known by viewers from the beginning. The question is how it all fits together.

As Cole and Bishop unravel the mysteries set before them they benefit from the scientific expertise of Dr Sol Goldman (Landau). The partners find out that the crime, like the evidence itself, is rarely what it seems.

SHOW: Veronica Mars

Unfortunately for them, there's Veronica Mars, a smart, fearless 18-year-old apprentice private investigator dedicated to solving the town's toughest mysteries.

During the day, high-school senior Veronica must negotiate the halls of Neptune High like any average teenage girl, alongside her friends Wallace Fennel and P.C.H. Bike Club leader Eli "Weevil" Navarro.

By night, Veronica helps with her father Keith's private investigator business, sneaking through back alleys and scoping out no-tell motels with a telescopic-lens camera and her math book in an attempt to uncover the California beach town's darkest secrets.

And in between, Veronica frequently helps add to her college fund by tackling a variety of problems for desperate classmates.
