Msizi Dlamini
Played by Mavuso Simelane
Msizi is Constable Dlamini's brother and the prodigal son of Okhambeni.
He escaped the village to build a successful career as a geologist, only to return in disgrace after his corrupt business dealings caught up with him.
According to Mavuso, Msizi's story is about redemption through sacrifice.

Mavuso: “Msizi spends the entire season trying to outrun his past, he sacrifices his pride, his reputation, and even his relationship."
Where have you seen Mavuso?

Mavuso made his TV acting debut in the season finale of SABC1's docu-drama Ngempela where he played Sbu.

His first starring role was in the M-Net drama series Reyka. He played SAPS junior detective Samuel Zwane.

He most recently appeared in both seasons of the Nomax (formerly Showmax) legal drama series Law, Love & Betrayal which aired on Mzansi Magic this year.

His other TV credits include SABC1's Forced Love and e.tv's Traffic!
MaDlamini
Played by Zesuliwe Hadebe
Msizi and Constable Dlamini's mother.
Makhosazana Dlamini has carried her family on her back for decades without complaint.
She raised her two children alone in a modest home in Okhambeni, as a domestic worker to ensure they had food.
Where have you seen Zesuliwe?
Her resumé includes roles on SABC3's drama series Thula's Vine and Mzansi Magic's Isithembiso, Ha Moliefi and My Brother's Keeper, where she plays Nomalanga.
Busi Nyembe
Played by Mbali Cele
Busi is MaNkwanyane’s maternal cousin. She arrives from Newcastle and works as a nurse at Okhambeni Clinic.
Mbali says her character is all about loyalty, mistakes and warmth.
Mbali: “Loyalty, because I fight for my family. Mistakes, because I’m human and I falter. Warmth, being there for everyone around me.”

Mbali portrayed ambitious hustler Tiny on e.tv's Smoke & Mirrors.
