These predictions reveal that Prehasa has to buck the system. Change the narrative. Be the difference.
Because of the high divorce rate.
StatsSA released
a report in March this year in which they detailed South Africa's divorce rates for 2024.
It begins with this conclusion:
"South Africa is experiencing a profound shift in its marital landscape, with the latest data revealing not only a rise in divorce rates but also a steady decline in the number of marriages being registered."
They go on to say that between 2023 and 2024 divorces increased from 22,230 to 24,202 - an 8.9% rise.
Marriages and unions decreased from 105,123 to 102,373, dropping by 2,6%.
That isn't dramatic, but it is when they compared it to 2015.
Marriages declined by a whopping 28.5% between 2015 and 2024 - a decrease of 40,906.
Meaning Pretty and Lehasa have a
lot of work to do because they're swimming upstream.
Let's see if they have the wings to do it.
