Four years ago, two women met by chance in the remote wilderness of the Tsitsikamma National Park.
One, a survivor of civil war; the other, recovering from a life-changing injury. They shared food and stories, and a bond was forged.
And out of it emerged a memoir: the culmination of a journey of survival, and a testament to the power of an unlikely friendship.
