Netflix has launched a new internship programme for 2026 called the Screen Craft Pathways Traineeship Programme.
They've launched it collaboration with the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism & Film Authority and the Gauteng Film Commission, and they're on a search for graduates who are passionate about storytelling, TV and film production.
30 candidates will be chosen and will receive:

A competitively-renumerated production role on a film or TV show managed by a Netflix-affiliated partner for the duration of the project.

Hands-on experience to prepare for long-term careers in production or post-production.

Mentorship and supervision from established industry professionals.

Access to Netflix-led technical production and skills-development workshops.

Opportunities for professional networking and long-term career development.
The contract will last for approximately nine to 12 months.
Who can apply?
You need to:

Be a South African citizen or permanent resident, aged 18 to 35 years.

Hold a degree or diploma in Film, Television or related field.

Be an entry-level candidate with less than two years of professional experience in the industry.

Applicants will be required to submit links to existing work or supporting documentation to validate their credentials and demonstrate relevant experience.
