here, now discover more about the characters on e.tv and eExtra's new Afrikaans-dubbed Turkish telenovela Yosef, which premiered on Monday 5 May.
First up:
Yaman
Played by Halil Ibrahim Ceyhan

Yaman is Yosef's uncle. He's an attractive yet serious man who has no emotional feelings. He’s macho, even rude. Behind his strong figure, hides a traumatic childhood.
His mother left her husband and three boys for a richer man, and his father hanged himself because he
couldn’t bear the pain.
From this day, Yaman promised himself not to ever trust a woman or have any feelings that would weaken him.
After his father’s suicide, he started working day and night.
Years later, he becomes a ship owner in the factory he once started as a labourer. He soon becomes a rich an respectable man, as he approaches illegal businesses from time to time.
He values his nephew Yusuf dearly - the son of his late brother - and protects him no matter what.
