Paola Turbay plays Ana
New novela Ana's New Life premieres on Telemundo tonight (30 September) at 21h00 for a 94-episode exploration of life after ditching a cheater.
The scenario is simple: 50-year-old Ana gets abandoned by her hotshot architect husband Horacio who moves in with someone 20-years younger.
She's understandably shattered and stops believing in love until she meets Joaquín Cortés. He's 15 years younger than her and cherishes her.
The moral of the story:
1. Losing a Loser is a good thing. Horny Horacio did Ana a favour.
2. It proves that the saying is true: where one door closes, another opens.
3. It's a good idea to fall in love again BUT with someone completely different to the person who broke your heart.
4. Ana shouldn't be labelled a cougar because it's derogatory.

Episode 1
Ana Valenzuela and her husband Horacio attend the tribute that the mayor's office has prepared to celebrate his career. Joaquín is also present to carry out a delicate investigation, as he suspects acts of corruption.
Joaquín is a journalist, who is divorced and has a young son named Teo.
Adelaida arrives drunk outside the venue, ready to confront her lover Horacio, who avoids the scandal.
However, he does not notice the presence of Violeta, Ana's best friend. At the end of the tribute, Violeta confesses to Ana that her husband has a mistress.
