Taking advantage of a vulnerable Vusi, Jabu gets a chance to dig for dirt. Meanwhile, Samke makes an impression on Mbalenhle and everyone is in awe of her except one. Sipho feels abandoned by Velephi.

Jabu thinks he has dirt on the Dlaminis but finds himself distracted. With a new look, Vuma's crush puts a spring in his step. Velephi posts something that triggers Sipho.

Phetheni readies for her big ball, while Sibongile stumbles upon very incriminating information. This changes everything she has known about Jabu. Velephi publicly breaks Vuma’s heart with her confession, and does not think twice about throwing him to the curb.

Sibongile is caught between a rock and a hard place when Jabu reveals his plans to destroy the Dlaminis. Samke finds herself falling for Vuma but deeply buried memories come back to haunt her. Qiniso’s house of lies gets shattered.

Sibongile feels the need to get hold of Kwenzo until a lawyer shows up at her door. An excited Vuma prepares for his date with Samke but he finds himself shocked. Velephi returns to iXopo but maybe she should have stayed where she was.

Episode 35
Sibongile considers Jabu’s proposal to sue the Dlaminis, and Vuma worries. Samke wants to catch the culprit who keeps raiding her restaurant, and she finally does. Qiniso’s lies catch up with him.

Episode 36
Jabu’s plan to take down the Dlaminis is finally in motion. Vuma declares his undying love for Samke. Velephi has no idea that Qiniso is out to scam her.

Episode 37
Suspicions rise against Jabu, but he seems ready to outsmart everyone. Khuzwayo sees Samke as just as much of a victim as Mbali from the version of the story he knows. Meanwhile, Velephi discovers devastating news about Qiniso.

Episode 38
All hell breaks loose when Njengaye finally unmasks Jabu’s real identity. Phetheni’s feathers get ruffled by an unexpected guest’s arrival. A humiliated Velephi finds solace in Vuma’s arms and a shameless Qiniso shows up to make one last request but it doesn’t go well.

Fear and tragedy stalk the Sibalikhulu Company celebration when it quickly descends into a crime scene. Jabu leads the charge against the family, in the chaos. Kwenzo suffers, much to the horror and hurt of everyone. Samke continues to play an unsuspecting Khuzwayo.

In the hospital Sibongile tries to help Kwenzo with a heartfelt declaration that he may not have heard. Samke reaches out to Vuma and Gcina finally answers Vusi's call. Khuzwayo also makes a declaration of his own.

Kwenzo tells his family where he stands with Sibongile, and Njengaye apologises to Jabu for what happened to his father. Samke and Vuma take a leap of faith, and so does Khuzwayo.

Episode 42
Sibongile soon learns that every action has a consequence. Vuma delivers devastating news to her, that threatens her entire future. The unlikely friendship between Nelisiwe and Gcina grows, while Khuzwayo learns that all Samke can offer him, is friendship. Wenzeni receives a gift from someone she loves to hate.
