Skeem Saam pics! Tbose and Mapitsi's new pad

Skeem Saam's Tbose and Mapitsi step out on their own this Monday (2 September) when they move into their flashy new house.

It's a double storey occasion, punctuated by marble topped stairs, an earthy colour palette and large slippery-looking tiles.

We're not tile fans for inside spaces but hey, each to their own - which makes us sound like the side-eye brigade in Turfloop.

As you may have seen in the latest September teasers here, not everyone is happy for their success.

Here are more pics and an extended teaser of their exploits:

From Season 1, Meikie Maputla has been the matriarch of the Maputla house. Taking care of the household, being a good wife and nurturing her children into two grown and successful men.

But, in Season 13 we see her slowly struggle with empty nest syndrome when her role of matriarch is passed over to Mapitsi as the new generation matriarch, in a new Maputla house.

Who can forget the two naïve teenagers, who fell in love in high school and had a teenage pregnancy dilemma? A healthy son, university qualifications, careers and one wedding later we are proud to see the young adults that Thabo and Mapitsi have grown into together.

Now we follow the couple, as they move into their own beautiful home. And in addition to Pitsi (played by Lethabo Matsetela), they welcome Baby Oratile (played by Realeboha Khotle), a new bundle of joy making them a young family of four.

The couple’s endurance will be tested, as they face the challenges of juggling their careers, striving for self-sufficiency and raising a family.

Hi TVSA. I just wanted to find out the FIRST Pitsi's real name. I saw some articles online stating that his name is Itumeleng Tefo and another said his name is Lethabo Thangoane.

Hi soapiepolice - his name is Lethabo Thangoane and before that, back in Season 3, he was played by Junior Jiyane.

An update: we've added more pics of the new set.
