Jabu Mazibuko, played by Lungelo Tyson Mathonsi who's always been credited as Tyson Mathonsi, until now.
His repertoire includes roles on The Queen, 1Magic's comedy-drama Grown Woman, the BET telenovela Isono and MTV Shuga - Down South, where he starred as hustling rich-kid and flirt Sandile.
He'll be getting his flirt on in Sibongile & The Dlaminis too because he plays Sibongile's weapon - that za-z!ng she needs to get Kwenzo to love her more.
Jabu's going to challenge Kwenzo for affections as her employer and romantic interest.
Jabu was born to a blue-collar worker and his life took a turn when he received a bursary from his father’s employer, Mgazini Timbers, enabling him to attend a prestigious boarding school.
Despite this opportunity, Jabu has always felt a void due to his father’s hardships under the Dlaminis.
Haunted by the memory of his father - a respected man who passed away impoverished - Jabu is driven by a deep-seated desire for justice and his ultimate goal is to avenge his father’s suffering at any cost.
