Star Life's new series Bitter Sweet Love premieres on Tuesday 26 March at 19h30, replacing
Timeless Love which ends Monday.
It's set in the world of music and follows the relationship between aspiring singer Vandana, who wants to resurrect her father's legacy, and music businessman Kunal who's more interested in the business of music than the music itself.
According to series star Mohit Malik, the show explores what happens when there's an imbalance between our heart and our mind.

Mohit: To live in today’s world, you need to have a balance of heart and mind. Kunal is someone who is totally mind right now, and Vandana is totally all heart. This heart and mind conflict is what they will have.
The series explores the pursuit of balance between the two.

Episode 1
Kunal returns to Mumbai in search of a voice that will lead his music company to its peak. Vandana, an ambitious singer, promises Vijay that she'll fulfill his dream.

Episode 2
After the humiliation at the recording studio, Vandana confronts Kunal about his decision. She challenges Kunal, vowing that she'll become an eminent singer one day.

Episode 3
Vandana feels dejected after the rejection and hesitates in returning home. Later, Vijay learns about Vandana's problem and encourages her to stay strong.

Episode 4
The Karmarkars try to uplift Vandana's mood as she dwells on her failure. Kunal visits Vandana's locality and searches for a penthouse.
Saturday 30 March 2024
Episode 5
After reaching the penthouse, Kunal is shocked to see Vandana. While the Karmarkars do the evening Aarti, Kunal recalls his past and gets agitated.
Sunday 31 March 2024
Episode 6
Vandana runs into Kunal, who is her neighbour and she fumes in rage. She shares her uneasiness after seeing Kunal with the Karmarkars.
