Martha and Nka have a fallout. Khaya discovers that Nolitha drugged Ifalethu. The family learns that Chuma is the owner of the illicit cigarettes. Khaya takes a stroll down the streets with a paper bag.

Nolitha’s double jeopardy
Nandi saves Khaya. Chuma signs the divorce papers. Khaya breaks down to Nandi. The community piles up at the hospital with the sudden rise of food poisoning. Rebs throws a destitute Nolitha out of her house.

Gazi gNolitha tells Nolitha that Rebs was only testing her. Khaya cleans himself up. Martha buys a can of pilchards from the Sokhulu tuck shop. Khaya is distraught seeing the state of the community.

Rebs outlines her plan to Nolitha. MaDlamini and Bulelani sing Khaya’s praises for helping her grandson and the community. Nka wonders if the Sokhulus are selling expired foods on purpose.

The Sokhulu’s must fall
Nolitha gives testimony hinting that the Sokhulus poisoned the tins. Rebs starts a protest and gets the community to invade the Sokhulu tuck shop. Nka gets a new calling. Chaos breaks out in the streets.

Tomorrow is unknown to us
Khaya is excited to be renewing his vows. The mob loots Sokhulu businesses. Nolitha’s guilt gets to her. The mob attacks the Sokhulus in their home. Velaphi witnesses Khaya’s brutal attack.

Deadly intentions
The Sokhulus realise that Khaya is not catching up like he said he would. Rebs gets her revenge on Khaya with her golf club. Nolitha attacks Rebs. Chuma wants revenge and feels the community needs to pay.

Chuma reassures the Sokhulus that they will bounce back. Rebs finds out about Nolitha being at the hospital in Johannesburg wth Khaya. Nomcebo wants to know if Chuma is still in love with Nolitha.

The Sokhulus haul Velaphi over the coals for beating up Mbuso. Nomsa finds out that Rebs was leading the mob during the riot. Velaphi tells Chuma who attacked Khaya. Chuma plans to kill Rebs.

Chuma wants to know more about Gazi. Nka buys looted alcohol from a looter. Nandi shares news about Khaya’s skyrocketing medical bill and mentions that Nolitha refuses to leave his bedside.

Nandi's heart is broken when she finds Khaya's wedding vows. Chuma thinks of a way to lure Gazi to the township without Rebs. The police raid the township. Chuma baits Gazi with a lie.

Gazi shows Rebs pictures of the gusheshe. Gazi is ambushed by Chuma when he arrives to buy the “Gusheshe”. Nka’s whole world comes crumbling down. Chuma shoots Gazi.

Nka gets arrested for being in possession of the looted alcohol from the Sokhulu Tavern. Nomcebo blames Chuma for driving Mbuso over the edge. Chuma surprises his family with money to reopen the Sokhulu businesses.

Chuma leaves Rebs’ mansion unseen. Thenji warns Nomcebo to rein Mbuso in. Rebs finds Gazi’s bloodied clothes. Chuma out refuses to help pay for Khaya’s medical bill. Mbuso vows to rid his family of the Sokhulus.

Rebs receives a gift from Madvodza of foot soldier body guards. She cancels her Christmas party and gives them a speech. Velaphi forces Mbuso to twerk at gunpoint. Chuma is forced to abort his mission.

Christmas day is a sad affair at the Sokhulus with almost half the family being away. Chuma spends Christmas with Nomcebo. Rebs pops champagne with the royal guards to beat her loneliness.

Nomcebo at Rebs’ mercy after Rebs reveals her true colours. Amahle threatens Velaphi with their relationship. Velaphi wants a perecentage of the profits from Nka's bash for his contribution.

Rebs meets with Madvodza, while Chuma, Bandze and the rejects arrive in Swaziland. They're ambushed by Madvodza and his enemy. Martha and Nka are surprised to see Esihlahleni’s superstar on their doorstep.

Chuma learns that his enemies are acquaintances after his van is found with cigarettes. Velaphi is surprised when Nka comes with his old time friend and Matshidiso is excited when Bulelani agrees to go to the street bash with her.
