Production house Rapid Blue and Netflix are on a search for couples who want to be on a new social experiment reality show called Love on Trial. 

The premise: six couples move into a villa for three weeks and put their love to the test.

What could possibly go wrong?

What could go right?

Who is the show looking for?

Couples between the ages of 18 and 35 who aren't married or engaged. 

You need to be South African citizens or have valid work permits or permanent residence status in South Africa.

Must knows

Filming will be happening between November and December 2023 and you'll need to be exclusively available for it as you'll be moving into the villa.

Closing date for applications: 1 November 2023

Application process

1. Read the Terms and Conditions and then upload a video of you and your partner.

- You must film your video on your cellphone in landscape format.

- Choose an interesting environment or background.

- Your video must include:

 

  • Why you believe you're the right participants for “Love on Trial South Africa.”
  • A description of you and your partner in three words.
2. Upload a series of unfiltered selfies of you and your partner (maximum 6). Three of the selfies must
include:

- Full length
- Head and shoulders
- Full face

3. You'll be required to answer a few questions about you and your partner.

4. Once your application has been completed and accepted, it will be evaluated and assessed.
