Finally, goodbye, as the show has lost its appeal for quite some time now.

And there it ends...I am going to really miss Gomora.
I have enjoyed the last few weeks of the show, it has really picked up pace however I am very disappointed in how Pretty and Tshiamo have been written. I really wanted to see more outrage from them about some of Sonto's actions. Pretty is crying about her mother but what about her father who was cruelly murdered? And Tshiamo cries over Sonto instead of being outraged about what happened to DJ Ora, her best friend.
And what about Nyalleng? She was Pretty's best friend yet her mother abducted her, then removed her kidney and left her to die. How can anyone forgive that? I wanted Pretty and Tshiamo to say enough is enough and go to the police to inform on Sonto and take the moral high ground. The characters we have grown to love over the last few years are better than the way they have portrayed recently. They tolerated Sonto because they didn't know the extent of her actions. Once it became clear to them we deserved to see more revulsion and condemnation of her actions. The ending would have been much more powerful if then consequence of Sonto's actions was the revulsion of her family and then turning their backs on her and bringing her down. I would have had Tshiamo talk to Sonto and get her to admit something and then have the police come in and Tshiamo had set her up. Sonto deserved it...but on the positive side there has been great acting from all despite my views!
