Thabo puts the final nail in the coffin. Bonga suffers the repercussions of his unhealthy eating habits. Xola is adamant that him and Mbali belong together.

Xola surprises Mbali when he says he wants to donate some of his mother's fortune to the hospital. Zondo is upset when Thabo gives her accommodation papers and Mazwi collapses while at the hospital to visit his brother.

The mention of Xola's name sparks Mbali's eyes. Mrs Dlamini tells Thabo to forgive Zondo, and Mazwi blackmails Bonga into him giving up his chicken piece.

Xola gives a generous donation to Durban General. Thabo and Zondo finally have a breakthrough in their weeks long impasse. Bonga and Mazwi are shocked to learn that gout is not contagious.
