It's been a while since a new series premiered on Star Life and it's happening in February.
Close to My Heart does a sneaky number on Lost in Love by sharing its double bill slot. It premieres on Monday 6 February at 19h30 and will air in single episodes daily, alongside Lost in Love which reduces to one episode a day, at 19h00.
Close to My Heart tells the story of lovers who are mad about food, but not each other. At first that is.
20-something Ginni Garewal runs a Dhaba (roadside restaurant) with her chaotic family and she's desperate for solutions to her family's problems - and also for lurve.
Enter Aditya Raj Singh who has a dream of becoming one of the world's most successful hoteliers. He wants meaning in his life and he finds it in Ginni, despite their love/hate relationship.
Niyati Fatnani stars as Ginni and former Indian Idol and The Voice host Karan Wahi portrays Aditya.
