Star Life's new series Laxmi premieres on Monday 26 December at 18h00, replacing
Love by Chance, which ends the day before.

It's the prequel to
Dream Girl, which aired on Star Life in May this year. Both series star Shraddha Arya.
Laxmi's name is Lakshmi in the original Hindi version titled Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki.
The name refers to the Hindu deity Lakshmi - she's the goddess of wealth, fortune and power. You'll see how this relates to the lead character in the teasers.
The series is about that situation you face when you fancy someone but haven't met them. How do you get to know them?
And how do you get dirrrty with them once you do?
Laxmi's a bit sweeter than that - less dirrrty us, LOL - but still, this is her intention, even if she won't admit it.
She's in love with the rich Arjun Agnihotri and dreams of marrying him but she faces two problems: she's never met him and he already has a wife.
Will her dreams come true?

Laxmi is considered to be a lucky charm ever since she was born. She grows up wishing to marry Arjun and live in his mansion. However, Arjun returns to India with his English wife.
