Aha... Karabo is explained. He's mentioned in
the latest teasers and now we have clarity on who he is - new art teacher
Reginald Pheko's son.
He's portrayed by Bohlokwa Mpiti, who played Khulekani and Ziyanda's son Zak in the final season of Rhythm City.
Bohlokwa's repertoire also includes roles on Mzansi Magic's Isithembiso and The Herd; and 1Magic's Grassroots.
His role as Karabo on Scandal! demands an overpriced watch and a deluded attitude.
This is who he:
Only child to Reginald and his now deceased mother. As it turns out, he became a spoilt brat, looking down on people he sees as “lower class”.
He adores his father and since his mother passed, their relationship strengthened. They are so close that sometimes Karabo misunderstands the parent-child dynamic, thinking of his father more as a friend than a parent.
He loves his father’s attention and sees anyone who takes it away from him as a threat.
He's a well-behaved son in front of his father but, as we’ll soon find out, he can get up to some really dodgy things behind his back.
