Elif is in a critical condition and goes into premature labour. Little Toprak is born and he is a healthy little boy. Meryem does no longer want to live in the same house that Kahraman and Elif lives in, as she accuses Kahraman of killing Kerem.

Kahraman and Elif are ecstatic after the birth of their son. Maksut is released from prison, but even worse, Defne hires an assassin to kill Elif.

Baby Toprak is stolen out of his crib while Elif is sleeping. Ibrahim is there to shoot Elif. Maksut is also there to see Elif and intervenes and follows him when he leaves.

A distraught Elif confronts Defne and accuses her of stealing Toprak. Ziya has his suspicions about Meryem’s involvement, whose behaviour is rather odd.

Kahraman works hard to find the abducted Toprak, while Elif gets emotionally and physically weaker by the minute. The couple's foundations are shaken when a baby is found on a dump.
