kykNET & Kie is on a search for family teams of two for a new cookery show titled My Ma Kook Beter as Joune (My mom cooks better than yours).
This is the premise of the show:
Your mother might be the best cook ever, but everything you attempt comes out a flop.
The series is looking for moms who are excellent cooks who want to tackle cookery tasks with one of their offspring, who don't know their way around a kitchen at all.
Each week two teams (a mother with daughter or son) compete against each other for R10,000 and the bragging rights of: My mom is a better cook than yours.
It's a short format show so each family needs to be available to film one episode at Homebrew Films in Cape Town between 24 October to 1 November 2022.

How to apply
Make a video, not longer than three minutes, where you introduce each other and tell the production why you should be chosen as one of the teams.
Reveal Mom’s favourite dish and share a tale or two of what has happened in your family kitchen.
Keep it light and entertaining and share some scandals and secrets.
