eExtra's new Kuiertyd rom-com #DisComplicated premieres on eExtra this Tuesday 13 September at 19h30, replacing Fenix which ends tonight.

As the name indicates, it's a complicated affair for lead character Eda Yildiz whose dreams are shattered when a financial manager botches his company's bursary programme.

Her university scholarship gets ripped away from her by the architecture company who awarded it because of a cost cutting directive from "above".

Disillusioned and disempowered, Eda wants justice for what happened to her, and she wants to return to her studies.

Her journey towards achieving both begins when she has a chance meeting with Serkan Bolat, the owner of the company that cancelled her scholarship.

Serkan wasn't aware of what his company did to Eda and makes her an offer to make it up to her: he'll pay for her studies if she agrees to pretend to be his fiancée for two months.

He wants to reconcile with his complicated ex-girlfriend Selim, who's now engaged to someone else, and he comes up with this plan to get her back.

Needless to say, this subterfuge creates heatt between him and Eda.
