She wants to be a Dream Girl in the movies, inspired by her screen icon Ayesha.
Laxmi leaves behind her small town to embark on a journey to manifest her future. Her mission is mirrored by Samar, an actor who has the same aspirations.
They meet, they love, they act.
Nikita Dutta plays Laxmi in her first TV role and Samar is played by Mohsin Khan, best known for starring in long-running Indian soapie Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which hasn't aired in South Africa yet.

Episode 1
Young Laxmi gets an opportunity to play a role in a movie. She aspires to become a Dream Girl just like her favourite actress, Ayesha.
As the years pass, Laxmi works hard at becoming an established actress in the film industry. Elsewhere, Samar wants to launch himself and seeks help from his brother Manav.
Episode 2
Laxmi asks her father's permission to go to Mumbai to fulfill her dream. Samar wants Manav to cast him in a movie.
Laxmi's brother motivates her and tells her to not lose hope. Later, Laxmi's father proposes a challenge and agrees to send her to Mumbai if she succeeds.

Episode 3
Laxmi decides to use ideas from Ayesha's movies to win the challenge. Elsewhere, Samar prepares for the audition.
Laxmi succeeds in the challenge proposed by her father. Manav tells Samar that he needs to work on his acting. Laxmi convinces her father and gets the permission to go to Mumbai.
Episode 4
Laxmi vows to make it big in the film industry in six months. On reaching Mumbai, Laxmi learns that she will have to share an apartment with Raj Samosawala.
Elsewhere, Ayesha humiliates her staff about their work ethics. Samar conceals his identity from Laxmi and pretends to be Raj Samosawala.
