Don't mess with my love for Nicole, man

No-one's noticed and Santoni paid the price.

Dear reader... I'm now convinced that Anela fancies Nicole, or at the very least, has real feelings for her. It was all about their relationship for him, I'm telling you.

When Kiran told him they needed to get rid of her I held my breath so tight I could hear The Dude's heart racing, clocking over what to do.

Was it my imagination? I honestly don't believe so because I knew he wasn't going to turn on her the moment Kiran said it.

It would have been the right thing for The League of Shadows to do considering they need to eliminate threats but it was about more for Anela, and not simply strategy or how he'll look to the jury.

The truth of the matter is that he's made a connection with Nicole through their exploits together and feels a lot more for her than he does for Kiran and Tyson, because he was ready to give Kiran the axe without hesitation.

And then he stuffed it up by blabbing to Kiran when he overthunk things by wanting his plan to work out for his résumé, despite saying he was okay with Santoni's alternative plan.

Santoni should have agreed to a majority vote for Kiran because it would have worked out seamlessly but she was suspicious of Anela and clearly didn't realise how he feels about Nicole, and therefore how honest he was being about where his commitment lay.

And Kiran suggested voting Nicole because he also has no clue about their relationship. In fact, him and Tyson are clueless when it comes to women I've realised.

They haven't had a real connection with any of the girls because they're too involved in their all-guys alliance and bromance.

I was gobsmacked by their reaction after they got back from Wardah's snuffing - hugging each other round the necks as if all was right with the world and yet hours before they were scrumming with her.

They need to have a passionate affair with someone and fall in lurve. It'll be good for them.

Let's touch

Those family visits were excellent. Not even that horrible, intrusive Outsurance plug could spoil it.

On that note... I just have to say... it took me out of the action completely again, broke the fourth wall, I felt sold to etc. but I would have accepted the torture if they'd won cash.

When Nico went on about how they've made the Top 6 and that Outsurance wanted to "reward them", I hoped they were going to get a cash Outsurance bonus. They should have gotten R20,000 each.

Instead they had to advertise on those eyesore towels and all I could think was: at least they have each other.

What struck me most about the visits was how much they touched. They clung to each other throughout.

It really emphasised how important physical contact is to make us feel whole and connected and how Covid's taken so much of that from us.

Loved ones snapshots

Smash and Nicole's brothers seemed to hit it off. Will make things less tense at the wedding.

Kiran's gorge sister. Before each person's loved one was introduced I tried to guess who would appear for them and I was worried it would be his mother because I'm not into mommy's boys. Was relieved it was his sister.

Chappies turned into even more of a threat with another baby so obviously on the way. A sentimental jury will like that.

Tyson was noticeably the only one who was visited by a buddy instead of family and seeing Santoni's sister was like meeting someone you already know.
