Prosecutor Ndzimande makes an impassioned opening statement. Teddy comes clean to Ntokozo about blabbing his mouth to Langa about Ntokozo’s secret. Day 2 of the trial does not go well for Thathi and Sonto.

A surprise witness takes the stand. Melusi is caught between being a father and a principal. The Alex Community forum shuts down Sonto’s businesses.

Melusi decides not to expel Ntokozo. A witness changes the course of the trial and Langa feels exposed.

Ntokozo surprises Sonto in court. Langa decides he’s done playing the ‘nice game’. He brings a gun to the Dlamini residence and demands that Ntokozo make a recorded confession.

Langa’s threat leaves Thathi shaken. Don’s money creates a rift between Teddy and Zodwa. Sonto is ready to pick up the pieces and arranges to meeting with the Dlaminis to discuss Langa.

Teddy gets stood up by Don. Melusi tries to persuade Langa to work things out as a family but Langa tells Melusi that he wants justice or nothing. Sifiso and the Community forum come barging in with demands at the tavern but Sonto is not having it.

Sonto and the family find themselves ambushed by the Community forum members again but this time things take a turn for the worst. Teddy winds up knocked out and unconscious in a mugging.

Langa starts to thaw and warm up to everyone but one of his own winds up on the wrong side of the law in his defense. Zodwa finds herself lying to someone she cares about because of Don. The Dlamini house gets another visit from the police.
