The Condor and Pelos ambush Ferrer in the prison bathroom. Meanwhile, Martín tries to negotiate an extra two weeks’ delivery time with the Pichileiro.

Alicia follows Rivera’s instructions to intercept Don Jesús’s phone. Javi has an idea to traffic in a different way, but Don Jesús refuses to listen.

Roxana does her best to prevent the Pichileiro from doing business with Don Jesús. The police try to arrest Martín Ustariz, but he escapes.

The Pichileiro arrives in Mexico to meet on Jesús and close the deal. But he is intercepted and taken away by Rodiles’s men.

The news of Rodiles’s escape spreads. Ferrer and Morillo prepare their hostages to make the exchange: Rodiles for Manuel and Carmen.
Once Close Enemies ends, Queen of the South returns for Season 2 after a whopping seven years since Season 1.
