Paloma is worried about things turning against her. Daniela can’t believe she will be able to meet her father. Paloma asks her father to help her contact Facundo Madrid, a drug dealer. Angel confesses to Luciana that he is not gay.

Angel tells Luciana that she is the love of his life. Ana Milena confirms to her daughter Cristina that she will not sign the divorce papers. Adolfo tells Paloma about the interview during which Mariano said awful things about her.

Mariano admits to Cristina that Paloma is the woman he has been seeing. Ana Milena tells Leonardo that she will not divorce him to clear the path for Paloma. Daniela is worried about her mother’s health. Linda comes to the theatre and creates a scene with Luciana.

Ana Milena and her daughter tell Leonardo things about Paloma’s past that surprise him. Diego apologises to Daniela for everything that has happened in their past. Jose confirms that Marcos Cruz’s daughter’s passport was forged.

Luciana tells Angel that things are over between them because her lover is going to leave his wife for her. Federico tells Paula he is not allowed to adopt a child because he was in prison. Daniela asks her mother about the secret she has been hiding from her.

Marcos argues with his daughter about his political activities and throws her out of his house. Cristina asks her father to go on TV and say that he’s no longer with Paloma. Paloma discovers a lot of money hidden inside a pipe in her father's house.

Ana Milena goes to Leonardo's office and says she will sign the divorce papers. Paloma's father discovers that she stole the money he had been hiding for so long. Diego visits Daniela and asks her to give him another chance.

José argues with Paloma and says she should return his money. Paloma visits Facundo Madrid, a well-known drug dealer. Paloma threatens Marcos with the forged passport he gave his daughter to leave the country.

Marcos, threatened by Paloma, ends his relationship with Estrella. Paloma talks to Anibal about her fake marriage. Facundo Madrid tells Paloma now that she is the future first lady, he is interested in working with her.

Leonardo organises a birthday party for Paloma. José gets drunk and makes a fool of himself. Mariano tells Paloma he will leave the country for three months. Paloma threatens to tell the media that she is not going to marry Leonardo.

Mariano asks Paloma to start a new life in Europe with him. Drug dealer Facundo Madrid warns Paloma that she cannot leave the country, since he paid for Santander's campaign.

Leonardo shows up unannounced at Mariano's house to ask him if he really had an affair with his wife. He is heartbroken to hear that Ana Milena was unfaithful to him. She refuses to accept Leonardo's apology.

Mariano and Paloma realise that their affair will probably not last forever. Cristina goes to tell Mariano how much she still loves him. Leonardo asks Paloma what her price will be to marry him and then divorce him a few months later.

Paloma breaks Mariano's heart when she tells him she is no longer going to Europe with him and that she plans to marry Santander and become the first lady. Diego is determined to stop his father from marrying Paloma.

Facundo Madrid arrives at Paula and Federico's house and it is a very unpleasant visit. Ana Milena gets drunk while watching her ex-husband's wedding on TV. As expected, Paloma's father gets drunk at the wedding and causes a scandal.

Mariano decides to ask Cristina to marry him. Ana Milena gets drunk because of her husband's triumph. Marcos and Estrella team up to oversee Santander's administration. Paula scolds Angel for cheating on Nancy.
