This is the fate that awaits Leleti Khumalo's MaZulu on Imbewu when Violet Vilakazi debuts next week.
She's played by Xoli Zondi, now known as Xoli Zondi-Zamisa, following her
2017 marriage to her long-time on-again/off-again squeeze Phiwokuhle Zamisa.
Xoli is popularly known for her role as Zodwa on Generations and for her starring roles on various other shows including the SABC1 comedies Family Bonds and Single Galz and e.tv's drama series Easy Money.
And now she needs to bring on the psycho in Imbewu as Menzi's estranged, firestarter wife.
The secret only Menzi knows, until now: Violet was charged with murder after burning down the house of a woman she suspected of sleeping with him and she's serving time in a psychiatric institution.
Which turns out to be the perfect ammo for his arch-rival Phakade (Sandile Dlamini) who digs up Menzi's past and uncovers her existence.
She first appears on Monday (19 October).
