This article has been updated to reflect the fact that the show has changed name from Shay’ iBhodwe to Plate It Up.

The deadline date and e-mail address for submissions also changed, although entries sent to the old e-mail address are still valid.

Sothar Pictures (Bone of my Bones, Raw Silk) is on a search for cheftestants for a new SABC1 cooking reality show Plate It Up.

Do you need to be a master chef to be on it?

The opposite. You need to have a passion for cooking but you need to be a novice in the kitchen.

If you answer "Yes," to these four questions, this show is for You:

Do your pots show you flames...literally?

Do you want tips to slay making meals?

Do you want to be on a cooking reality show?

Do you want the help of a professional chef to assist you in improving your kitchen skills?

If Yes...

You can apply to be on the show by sharing your story with the production.

Tell them why the show's chefs should come to your aid.

You can reach them on this address:

Deadline date: Still open as 4 November 2020.
