Zee World's new 18h00 nightly Age is Just a Number premieres tonight (Thursday, 28 May), replacing Our Perfect Place which ended last night.
The series is a love story between a 42-year-old middle class, conservative single mother, Vedika and a 24-year-old irresponsible maverick, Sahil, from a traditional, super-rich business family.
Will their love be enough to bridge the gaps or will the rules of society become a death sentence for their love?

Episode 1
Vedika is a single mother with meagre means. She is rushing for an interview which she desperately needs. Meanwhile, Sahil, a rich boy from an affluent house, lies to his family about his post-graduate diploma.

Vedika goes to the jeweller to sell her mother's gold jewellery, only to realise that they are fake. As the jewellery shop owner accuses her of dishonesty, Vedika leaves the shop crying.

Badi Amma declares that anyone who sides with Sahil is her enemy. Meanwhile Sahil is trying to convince Vedika to let him stay in her house on rent. Much to Vedika's dismay, Vedika's mother agrees.

Panday creates a ruckus in the community about Vedika renting out the room to a young boy Sahil. After realising that Anjana has been helping Sahil financially, Badi Amma decides to give the responsibility of the house to Anjana.
