Episode 21

Thathi’s hope for justice is snatched away by Jomo’s death but there’s a promise of a return to the old life. Mam’ Sonto finds a new replacement for Jomo.

Episode 22

Thathi is lured back to the rich world when an “old friend” offers an irresistible business deal. Ntokozo is given an ultimatum as he gets recruited for crime, whilst Teddy and Langa grow closer.

Episode 23

Ntokozo is forced to join Mam’ Sonto’s dealings. Thathi’s euphoria is short lived when she realizes that Pretty was right, nothing is for mahala.

Episode 24

Rodney’s proposition sets Thathi against her one ally. Things remain tense between Teddy and Ntokozo as Ntokozo gets pulled more into Sonto’s world. Melusi’s attempt to bridge the communication gap with Ntokozo takes a comical turn.

Episode 25

Sonto has a new mission for Mazet and Ntokozo. Rodney gives Thathi a rude awakening while Ntokozo finds himself thrown into a baptism of fire.

CASTING NEWSFLASH:

Vusi Kunene will be playing the role of Rodney that you see in the teasers.

He's Mbongeni's long-time buddy who has a life-long crush on Thathi.

Mzansi Magic tells us that he'll only be on the show for a couple of episodes. Let us know if you think he should stay longer once you've met his character.

This from the description of Rodney:

He's confident, successful, well read and rich.

He runs a tech company that owes most of its success to Mbongeni’ s money and connections. From the moment he met Thathi, Rodney never made his desire for her a secret.

A favourite with Thathi’s children, he’s the uncle who can do no wrong, the uncle who showed up for some school activities when their father couldn’t be bothered.

The man is cunning, cutthroat and the epitome of self-entitled. He wants what he wants when he wants it. He may have had his hand in some of Mbongeni’ s corrupt pies but nothing points to him.
