Another new year, another season. 18 years later.

Idols first debuted in 2002 and the 2020 auditions for Season 16 are around the corner so warm-up your pipes if you wanna enter.

These are the audition dates and venues:

Cape Town

Date: Saturday, 1 February 2020
Venue: Century City Conference Centre

Pretoria

Date: Saturday, 15 February 2020
Venue: The South African State Theatre

Durban

Date: Saturday, 22 February 2020
Venue: Southern Sun Elangeni & Maharani + North Beach Amphitheatre

Johannesburg

Date: Saturday, 7 March 2020
Venue: Carnival City
