kykNET and production house Afrokaans (Survivor SA) are on a search for singles for the channel's new dating show Hoor My, Sien My, Soen My.

It's based on the international format Hear Me, See Me, Kiss Me and it's aaaaaall about connecting with a stranger's personality as opposed to their physical features.

Word from kykNET is that they're looking for both Afrikaans and English speakers for it i.e. it doesn't matter if you don't speak Afrikaans, just so long as you want to find lurve.

This is how it works: contestants go on a virtual blind date with three potential partners who they can't see. Each partner wears a bodycam and shares a day in their life but it's strapped to their bodies so the "chooser" can't see their face.

The couples get to know each other by chatting and flirting and at the end of each day the contestant will decide which partner he or she would like to spend more time with.

The choice is revealed at the end of the show when the contestant meets all three suitors face-to-face and reveals who they want to go on a date with.

If you'd like to be on either side of the body cam, you can apply to be on the show by completing a questionnaire and submitting a video entry on the kykNET website here: Hoor My, Sien My, Soen My entries.

Must-knows

You need to be over 18 to enter.

Closing date for entries: 14 August 2019

Hi TVSA, do you have any advice on how one can get in touch with an agent? Thank you.
