An angry Micaela leaves the party and asks Santiago to take her home. Eva throws her bride bouquet and her aunt Presentacion catches it. Meanwhile, Beto tells Renata that he wants to talk to her.

Cruz Mario wants to know who left the picture that appeared in his room. Micaela asks her mother to do something to get Rolando out of their home as he keeps upsetting her.

On the night of Polanco and Eva's wedding, the bride's father, Rolando, arrives at the mansion very drunk and asks his daughter if he can spend the night there, much to Polanco's annoyance.

Lucía visits Santiago and asks him to persuade Maruja not to move to Argentina. After some important documents are stolen from his safe, Polanco asks Beto to come back to work immediately and kill Minerva.

Polanco reacts violently towards Eva when he finds out she went to see Nené. Renata asks her husband about some money he spent because she suspects he could have used it to pay for Carolina's breast implants.

Eva warns Nené to leave the house because Polanco is on his way to get him. Betulio and Carolina are evaluated by a psychologist.

Santiago and Karla discuss the results of Gala's mammogram. Renata tries to talk Carolina into having dinner at her house that night but Carolina refuses. Maruja doesn't look too well.

Lucho and Shirley are on a break. Lucía and Guillermo, seeing they can't do anything to help what's going on, decide to see what the future brings. Santiago gets a biopsy from Gala.

Hinojosa and Minerva plan to leave, but Emerson asks her to calm down. Minerva usually does everything he tells her to, but she's desperate to go right away because Beto is after them.

Hinojosa asks Beto to get him a first aid kit to heal his wound, but it's a bad injury and he needs medical treatment. Santiago offers Gala her support while she waits for the results of the biopsy.

Gala receives the bad news that she has cancer and reacts angrily. Karla talks to Micaela and makes her see that hard times are coming for her and Santiago.

Lucía agrees to find out if Chantal had something with Daniel, as Carolina is desperate to know. Cruz Mario leaves his house at night and refuses to tell Eva where he's going.

Renata refuses to believe that the calls between Daniel and Carolina are real. Carolina asks Celina lots of questions about Chantal. Chantal tries to seduce Daniel, but he's not interested.

Estrella, Eva and Nené get into Micaela's room, but they don't find her there. Eva blames Nené for stealing the papers from Polanco's office.

When the police received a call saying that Gala is alive, Sheriff Perales sends agents to check the area so they can confirm it's really her. Nella insists on going with them.

Santiago picks up the phone and a voice tells him that Gala has been kidnapped. They ask for a very large amount of money for the following day or they'll kill her.

Gala is still missing and Micaela goes to see Santiago to offer her support. Polanco and Eva fight over Nené. Santiago goes to see Dr Augusto to find out how Gala's tests went.
