Thorne’s return to Los Angeles after a lengthy stay in Paris is met with mixed emotions, especially from his elder brother, Ridge.
Confused about the sudden change in dynamics within the Spencer family, Wyatt demands that Bill tell him how his resolution with Liam happened.
Attributing his reconciliation with Bill to Steffy, Liam insists that she escort him to his first day back at Spencer Publications. Undetected tension fills the room between Steffy and Bill as Liam praises them both for his current happiness.

Regretting that she slept with Bill, and concerned that it will ruin her marriage to Liam, Steffy contemplates how best to tell her husband that she slept with his father.
Ridge is shocked when Brooke confronts him about the seemingly intimate moment she witnessed between he and Quinn. He becomes angry when Brooke informs him of Thorne’s current residence. Thorne arrives at Forrester Creations for his first time since returning to Los Angeles.
He and Eric discuss Ridge, Brooke and Sheila. In order to save their relationships with Liam, Steffy and Bill make a pact to never tell him what happened between them.

Thorne attempts to get details out of Eric about Ridge’s affair that caused his breakup with Brooke. Eric is impressed when Thorne shows him what he’s been working on in Europe.
The energy between the two brothers becomes intense when Brooke and Ridge arrive at the office and see that Thorne intends to compete with Ridge. Quinn and Ivy talk discuss Thorne’s return and the vast differences between he and Ridge.

Eric, Quinn and Brooke must intervene in a heated argument between Ridge and Thorne. Brooke stands up to Ridge for his mistreatment of others and leaves with Thorne.
Frustrated, Ridge vows to relieve Brooke of her “babysitting” duties. Steffy’s immense guilt surfaces when Liam queries her about the night she left him and what caused her to forgive him. Steffy lies, which causes her anxiety.
At lunch with Brooke at Il Giardino, Thorne attempts to convince Brooke to lave Ridge and be with him. Ridge soon arrives and takes Brooke back to the office. Having observed all of this unseen, Sheila approaches Thorne and seizes the opportunity to spill the beans about Ridge and Quinn.

As Sheila tells Thorne about Ridge and Quinn kissing in Australia, he is unsure of whether or not to believe her. Ridge surprises Brooke with a visit to the Forrester Creations steam room. He makes it abundantly clear that he intends to win her back.
Eric recounts Brooke’s colorful history with the Forrester men to Quinn. Thorne confronts Eric about the news he learned from Sheila.
Quinn arrives at Il Giardino to pick up lunch and has an unpleasant encounter with Sheila. Eric pleads with Thorne to drop his vendetta against Ridge, but Thorne has too much bittern3ess and resentment built up.

While Steffy fills Bill in on the lie she told to Liam about the night she left him, Quinn is innocently telling Liam about the bracelet Steffy left behind at the Forrester guest house.
Thorne admits to Brooke one of the real reasons he returned to LA. Ridge interrupts Thorne and Brooke and as the two brothers argue, push comes to shove.

Brooke breaks up the argument between Ridge and Thorne who each blame the other for starting the squabble. Liam confronts Steffy about why she lied about staying in the Forrester guest house the night that they argued. Feeling cornered, Steffy does her best to cover.
Quinn shares with Maya the inspiration behind the new bracelet prototype that she is working on. She also shares the information she has about Steffy and Liam.
Unable to take anymore fighting between the brothers, Brooke demands that Ridge leave. Thorne attempts to prove to Brooke why his brother is not worthy of her love and then surprises her with a kiss.

Episode 21 (7734)
Thorne admits to Brooke that he has wanted to kiss her for a while, and asks if she would like to give their relationship another try. Home from Paris, Nicole is captivated by Maya’s stories and video from her trip to South Africa. They both can’t believe how far they’ve come in their lives and careers.
Nicole witnesses Brooke and Thorne immersed in a deep conversation and later reports this to Maya, who wonders if there is something more going on between them.
Ivy and Quinn are mesmerized by the diamonds that Simon has brought to them. Quinn reveals to Ivy that she is designing an engagement ring that Ridge plans on giving to Brooke.
Ivy queries Quinn to see if she feels it is strange to make a ring that a man she cared for will give to another woman.
Later, Quinn delivers the ring to Ridge and the two reminisce about their forbidden kisses. However, both agree that their lives are back on track and they are both where they want to be.

Episode 22 (7735)
Steffy and Ridge have a heart-to-heart conversation about how challenging marriage can be and how forgiveness is important. Ridge pulls out the ring that he plans to give to Brooke and tells his daughter that he plans on proposing to Brooke.
Ridge brings up the subject of Bill and warns her to stay far away from her father-in-law; that he is evil. During a business meeting, Bill is visibly distracted which leads Wyatt, Liam and Justin to assume he’s missing Brooke.
When they are alone, Liam tells Bill how happy he and Steffy are and that he is amazed that Steffy has been able to forgive him for kissing Sally. Liam asks Bill about his love life and apologizes for Brooke divorcing him, which causes Bill to be overcome with guilt.

Steffy and Liam relish in their renewed love. Thorne and Eric discuss how Ridge doesn’t seem to be happy that Thorne is back in town.
Thorne suggests that they oust Ridge from the company so that he and Eric can work side-by-side. He reveals to his father that in order to prove himself to Eric, he started his own line in Paris called “Aly” and that sales are doing well.
Ridge arrives at Brooke’s house and surprises her with a romantic dinner out on the patio. During dinner, Ridge lays on the compliments and gives a touching toast before asking Brooke to become his wife. Thorne admits to Eric that he still has feelings for Brooke.

Thorne advises Eric to fire Ridge so that he and Brooke can rid their lives of negativity. Brooke responds to Ridge’s proposal with an interesting stipulation. Quinn tells Eric and Thorne and Ridge is proposing to Brooke. Liam thanks Bill for his loyalty to the family; and tells him he is grateful to have him as a father.

Liam is elated and Steffy is reserved about the big news that they have received. Thorne makes an appeal to Rick to help him stop Broke from allowing Ridge back into her heart. Rick jumps on board, overjoyed that there is someone else who finally feels the way he does about Ridge.
Thorne shocks Maya and Rick by disclosing the secret affair of the heart between Quinn and Ridge. They quickly discern that Thorne has feelings for Brooke; which Thorne does not deny.
Thorne continues to try and sway Brooke to break of her relationship with Ridge so that they may have a second chance. Liam misreads Steffy’s lack of excitement about her future.

Ridge gloats to Bill about his relationship with Brooke. Katie reveals to Brooke that she is secretly involved with Wyatt. Brooke issues her sister a warning about what may happen when Bill finds out the news that his son is sleeping with his ex-wife.
Steffy has a “day-mare” about delivering what the outcome of her pregnancy may be. Steffy arranges to meet Bill and shares with him that she has received unexpected news. Bill goes from happy to horrified when he realizes that Steffy doesn’t know who the father of her child is.

Ecstatic at the prospect, Liam confides in Wyatt that he and Steffy are going to be parents. Wyatt shares his brother’s enthusiasm and cannot wait to tell Bill.
Brooke reminds Thorne that he needs to respect her relationship with Ridge if he plans on continuing to live under her roof. Thorne assures Brooke that he will respect her wishes, but does not fess up that he has no intention of giving up on her.
Steffy and Bill are having serious guilt about their one-night-stand together. Bill convinces Steffy to take the necessary steps to find out the identity of her baby daddy.

When Katie admits to Wyatt that she told Brooke about them, Wyatt worries that the more people who know, the sooner that Bill will find out.
Katie reveals the present she bought him for Christmas as she unwraps her robe to reveal sexy Santa lingerie. Steffy takes a paternity test while an unknowing Liam voices his appreciation for Bill and how their relationship has come a long way.

It’s Christmas at the Forrester Mansion, and the Logan, Forrester and Avant families come together to share the spirit of the season.
Eric and Brooke make toasts about the history of their families and the meaning of the holiday, while one power couple takes advantage of the magical moment to announce their engagement.
As is Forrester tradition, all gather around to sing carol while Eric accompanies them on the piano.

Anxiety-ridden, Steffy follows up with Dr. Campbell to find out when the results of the paternity test will be available. She has flashbacks of her greatest moments with Liam as she contemplates what the results of this test might do to their relationship.
Liam startles her out of her memories and expresses how happy he is that they will be parents. Later, Steffy confronts Bill about his motives and point blank asks him if sleeping with her was a way to exact revenge on Liam.
Thinking it is in the best interest of her engagement to Ridge, Brooke asks Thorne to move out of her home. Katie and Wyatt flirt and talk about their relationship.
When he gets called to a meeting by Liam, Katie does her very best to seduce him into skipping the pressing office visit.
After he leaves, her doorbell rings. Thinking Wyatt has returned to her, Katie opens her door in nothing but lingerie and is startled to see Thorne on the other side of the threshold.

Thorne is intrigued by Katie and her new found sense of adventure. Katie is surprised to learn that Brooke asked him to leave. As the two reunite in friendship, Katie senses that Thorne has a thing for her sister.
They take a short walk down memory lane including the time that Katie was engaged to Ridge.
Even though she won’t give up to Thorne that her new lover is Wyatt, Katie offers Thorne a place to live. Liam confides in Wyatt that Steffy is pregnant and the two discuss how their lives are about to change with a baby on board.
Brooke tells Ridge she hopes that he will begin to get along with his brother but Ridge doesn’t seem to want to give Thorne any respect whatsoever. Ridge and Brooke get romantic. As Bill nervously paces the hallways, Steffy learns the identity of the father of her baby.
