Sally is about to be released from the hospital. Sally is overcome by her emotion to have Thomas back in town.

Saul and Shirley are ecstatic that Thomas is back and hope that Sally can convince him to help resurrect Spectra Fashions from the ashes. When Sally confesses her feelings for him, Thomas reciprocates them, yet he feels that it is his obligation to be with the mother of his child on her last days.
At Forrester Creations, Liam nearly sells out his father's terrible deed to an unsuspecting Brooke. Caroline calls out her Uncle Bill for his machinations as she feels sick about lying to Thomas about her health.
Bill attempts to persuade Caroline to leave L.A. as soon as possible in order to not risk a reunion between Thomas and Sally.

Sheila sneaks into the security office of a startled Charlie. Quinn and Ridge share their concern over Sheila's influence on Eric. Liam pointblank reveals that Caroline is not dying and he also instructs the Lieutenant Baker to take his father into custody for committing arson at Spectra Fashions.

Liam awakes from his vivid daydream. Liam and Steffy argue whether revealing Bill's lie would have an effect on Thomas’ decision to stay in New York.
Meanwhile, Caroline pays Bill another visit, but he reassures his niece that Thomas will stay with his family. Sheila's pious hope does not come true though as Ridge and Quinn are indeed very close. Ridge and Quinn reflect on ways to repair their relationship with Eric.

Ridge and Rick complement Zende's latest designs. Maya tries to mask her insecurity with Nicole and Lizzy's bond, yet immediately runs to Rick to share her fears.
On top of the world that his plan is succeeding, Bill takes a meeting with C.J. to discuss the sale of the Spectra property. Liam interferes with Bill and C.J.'s negotiation, which infuriates Dollar Bill.

Ridge and Steffy discuss the complex relationship between Bill and Liam. Over at Spencer Publications, Bill is amazed by Liam's audacity to try and push him out of the company.
Rick questions Maya's extreme plan to send Nicole and Zende off to Paris. As a final gesture to repay for past mistakes, Sally boldly offers Steffy a batch of designs as a peace offering. Ridge makes a stunned Zende and Nicole the offer to take over positions at Forrester International.

Bill fumes over Liam's ultimatum. Brooke is surprised to hear that Bill is thinking of taking some time off from the company. Steffy and Sally have a heart-to-heart.
C.J. breaks the news that he is selling the building to Bill. Steffy is alarmed to hear that Liam is actually willing to send his father to prison if he does not step down from Spencer Publications. Vivienne and Julius are shocked when they learn that Zende and Nicole may be moving to Paris.

Steffy urges Liam to carefully consider if he is willing to ruin the relationship with his father in exchange for the new power position at Spencer Publications. Justin advises Bill to comply with Liam's ultimatum. Katie and Wyatt revel in their happiness while still in bed.
Bill confirms that he is stepping down as CEO and he does not leave without letting Liam know how he really feels about the whole situation.

Liam announces that Bill has stepped down and that he is the CEO of Spencer Publications. Wyatt is completely blindsided by his brother's unexpected declaration and seeks out answers from Bill. Bill does not reveal what prompted his leave of absence.
Despite the many questions to Bill about his unusual behavior, Brooke is equally left in the dark about her husband's situation. Justin let Bill know that he will keep a close eye on Liam. Later, Bill sinks in Steffy's arms as he begins to cry about being a terrible father to his son.

A fire marshal accompanies the Spectra gang on a tour through the remnants of their former work space. C.J. can hardly believe his luck when he arrives at Spencer Publications in order to sell his now useless property to Bill and finds Liam in charge instead.
Later, Sally receives the most unexpected happy news that she will be able to finally to prove herself as a designer.

Sally is overjoyed by Liam's generosity and the gift to become owner of the Spectra Fashions building. Steffy gets Bill to admit that he went too far in his actions regarding Spectra.
Later, Brooke continues to be suspicious of Bill and pressures her husband to come clean to her. Steffy is distraught that Liam is not willing to compromise with Bill.
Sally announces to her stunned staff and family that Spectra Fashions will soon be back in business.

Wyatt confidentially fills Katie in on the current dispute between Bill and Liam. In spite of Steffy's attempt to appeal to his emotions, Liam keeps his grip firm on the CEO chair of Spencer Publications and announces that he intends to use his power for the greater good.
Brooke demands that Bill tell her what Liam is holding over his head.

Ridge and Quinn are both relieved that Eric forgave Quinn and that Sheila is out of the picture. Meanwhile, Sheila calls Charlie for assistance in getting Quinn out of Eric's life for good.
Bill pleads with Brooke not to leave him. Steffy is concerned that her good guy-husband might become corrupted by power.

Brooke confides in Ridge that Bill did something horrible and that she will move back into her house because she needs space. Wyatt confronts Liam about how he was able to obtain the title of CEO from their father.
Later, Brooke cautions Liam to be watchful over Bill's impending revenge. Bill confesses to Steffy that as collateral damage to him losing his company and his son, Brooke has walked out on him. Steffy vows to help Bill get through this time of need.

Sally and the Spectra group tour their offices to check out the progress of the renovations following the fire. After learning that Thomas is not coming back, Shirley wonders how Sally was able to get her hands that quickly on the property and gain funding for the reconstruction.
Liam begins to make his first changes at Spencer Publications. Knowing that Justin still has his job, Bill questions his right-hand man whether he or Liam has his loyalty.
Wanting to reunite the family, Steffy pays a visit to Brooke at her house in an attempt to get her to forgive Bill. Sally extends a gift to Liam to show her appreciation.

Wyatt and Justin discover that Liam used 50 million dollars of company funds for the purchase of the Spectra site which is now apparently owned by Sally.
Liam admits to Steffy that he bought the Spectra building and gave it to Sally on basis of an interest-free loan.
While looking for his wife, Bill finds Ridge who has a list of taunting questions regarding why Brooke is so upset. R.J. confronts Brooke about her marriage to Bill and if there happens to be any chance of their family reuniting with Ridge.

Steffy warns Sally not to take advantage of Liam's kindness and generous nature. Later, Coco unsuccessfully questions Sally about the identity of the person who helped raise Spectra Fashions from the ashes.
Wyatt rants at Liam for using the enormous amount of money to buy the Spectra building and then give it away for no return on the investment.
Tired of Ridge's jeering, Bill threatens Ridge to stay away from Brooke and out of their marriage. R.J. attempts to get Brooke to admit that no other man in her life comes close to being her destiny than Ridge.
