Yes, Ross Poldark has the hottness factor BUT it's spoilt by his hair and someone needs to do something about it for the final season when it airs next year.
I was troubled by his hairstyle during Season 3 and managed to let it go but it's been disturbing me too much during the fourth season so I feel compelled to speak up.
The real problem with it is that it's become too bobbed and too short and the combo doesn't work. It's gotten shorter and more bobbed across seasons. If it was a longer bob it might be okay, but it would be much better if the bob was simply axed.

The article mentions that the action will take place during "this intervening period" so let's hope this means that a chunky amount of time passes between Seasons 4 and 5 to give the show motivation to change his hair to reflect this.
Either that or they need to get him a new hairdresser - whichever fixes the problem best.
