Thandi shows Lulu the picture she found in Chulu's house which she believes is of Chulu's ex-girlfriend thereby sending Lulu into a tailspin. Dudu and Uhuru's personal issues threaten their budding romance whereas Lydia has to get over her own feelings to get help in her investigation. Ace reneges on a deal and Chris finds out that his mother is missing.

Chris makes another disturbing discovery about Brandon as he searches for Irene who has gone missing. Sammy Sabelo has a surprise for Dudu and it's unclear if she'll able to handle this without Uhuru.

While helping protect Lulu from Chulu, Thandi realizes the repressed anger boiling inside of her is coming from the last place she expected. While struggling to continue her investigation on Caiphus, Lydia retreats back to the comfort of the bottle, at the expense of being there for her daughter.
After seeing how dangerous Chulu can be, Chris takes matters into his own hands, enlisting Ace’s help to make sure Chulu doesn’t hurt Lulu again...

Thandi cannot accept that Lulu is going back to her abuser, Chulu. Uhuru makes Thandi realise that there’s nothing more she can do - something he learned from her. However, Uhuru makes a last attempt to get Lulu away from Chulu. Will Lulu tell Uhuru the truth and risk her reputation? Or will she stay with Chulu?
Lydia realises she was too drunk to remember that Dudu told her that Thandi is in trouble. Ace pulls a fast one on Mlungisi, getting him to cough up double the money so that Ace will take the fall with the construction company.
Damian meets with Sinayo and appeals to her conscience in order to get Sinayo to speak some sense to Lulu about Chulu. Will Sinayo consent to this?

Thandi and Uhuru’s wedding finally goes ahead, leading to Ace’s downfall and exile from the family. When Lydia confronts Mlungisi about his dark past, begging for his cooperation to bring peace to Caiphus’s spirit, Mlungisi gets cold feet and turns her down, leaving her at a frustrating dead end after getting so close to the full truth.
Chris reveals to Chulu his public image has been tarnished after Lulu and Sinayo went public about his abuse. After Lulu confesses to Gerty she killed Lebo, she decides she’s going to the police, ready to face the full consequences of her actions.
