Ridge pays a visit to Eric and makes a fearless attempt to get him to reconsider making Steffy the CEO of Forrester Creations. When explaining to Eric that the company needs a leader with more experience, Ridge candidly asks if being overlooked is a punishment.
Quinn is caught off-guard when Ivy bluntly makes her swear that she has no feelings for Ridge. Liam puts his foot down with Wyatt in regards to the way Steffy is being portrayed on social media.

Frustrated that he is losing Steffy as each day passes, Liam pressures Ridge to act on his plan to get Quinn out of their lives. Ridge and Liam share their insights on Quinn with each other and how best to approach their plan.
Eric, Quinn and Wyatt make a presentation to Steffy on how she could achieve ultimate happiness by getting on board with their idea. Steffy is torn between the thoughts of grandeur and her devotion to Liam.

RJ puts pressure on Brooke to finally marry Ridge again because he has been waiting a long time for it to happen. Ridge shares with Liam the strategy behind his plan against Quinn - it is much like the one she is using on Steffy.
Eric attempts to entice Steffy into buying into the offer he, Quinn and Wyatt are making by putting a dollar amount on her future. Brooke gives Ridge the perfect opportunity to get Quinn out of their lives so that they may finally be married.

With Quinn as a sounding board, Wyatt is given a dose of reality regarding his relationship with Steffy that he washes down with a bottle of tequila to kill the pain.
Having given her final decision to Eric about his request, Steffy contemplates what she should do until her divorce is final. Ridge strategically sidesteps Brooke’s questioning about what exactly his plans are to get rid of Quinn.

Bill and Katie play nice for the sake of Will as she prods him on the current status of life, and his relationship with Brooke. Ridge assures Brooke that when she returns from her trip, Quinn will be gone and they can finally be married.
Before going on her trip, Brooke gets a visit from Bill who is willing to offer her something in the present moment that Ridge can’t. Wyatt attempts to get Steffy to realize how much he loves and supports her; much more than Liam.

Ridge is presented with an opportune moment to exact his plan when Eric sends him and Quinn to San Francisco for a design symposium. Thomas returns from New York to the harsh reality that his sister, Steffy, is now his boss at Forrester Creations.
Tensions rise between Wyatt and Liam as Steffy discusses her future living situation with Thomas in their presence. Quinn fears what will happen at her first symposium while Ridge plots his takedown.

Quinn is emotionally touched by the accolades that Ridge is publicly making of her during the design symposium. Steffy fills Thomas in on everything that has been going on in her life, and at Forrester Creations, while he was away.
After Wyatt describes how much Quinn has contributed to Forrester Creations, he attempts to get Liam to admit that he is right. Following their appearance at the symposium, Ridge and Quinn toast to their success and the partnership that they are building.

Ridge boldly admits to Quinn that he will do whatever it takes to get her out of their lives and plans to provide evidence to Eric to do so. Katie is taken aback when Eric and Wyatt reveal their unsuccessful plan to bring Steffy back home.
She volunteers her opinion which enlightens them as to why their idea may never work. Steffy and Liam share their frustrations about the continued manipulations that their relationship is up against.

While expressing her guilt to Thomas about what Wyatt is emotionally going through, Steffy can’t help but feel excited about a future with Liam. Bill has a fatherly discussion with Liam about the importance of having patience with the women in their lives.
As Eric gushes over his marriage, he assures Katie that she will not be single for much longer. Quinn delves into her past as Ridge begins to learn what makes her tick and sometimes explode.

Quinn has a difficult time not feeling vulnerable at the office after the interaction that she had with Ridge the night before. The staff at Forrester Creations is stunned to see the dramatic shift of Ridge’s attitude towards Quinn.
Eric tells Katie the reason behind him sending Ridge and Quinn to San Francisco together for the symposium. Wyatt goes to Eric to let him know that he is grateful for all the support he has received, but he has made a decision about Steffy.

Quinn interrogates Ridge about whether or not he will continue his intent to get her out of Eric’s life. Liam gives Steffy an ultimatum to either allow her family to continue their manipulation of her, or to follow her heart and live happily with him.
During their tense conversation, Steffy receives a call from Wyatt to meet him. She reluctantly agrees to meet with Wyatt with the assumption that he is planning a desired reunion. Meanwhile, Liam goes to Ridge in hopes that the plan for San Francisco was successful.

Eric puts Ridge on the spot demanding info about his time with Quinn in San Francisco. Wyatt selflessly gives Steffy what she needs so that she may start the life that she's been wanting with Liam.

Steffy becomes confused during her meeting with Wyatt when Carter arrives and she receives gifts and surprises.
Frustrated, Liam shares with Bill the ultimatum that he issued to Steffy. Ridge is unsure of how to answer when Eric questions him about his and Quinn’s trip to the San Francisco symposium. Quinn has a difficult time keeping her mind off of Ridge and feels guilty about being emotionally unfaithful to Eric.

Both having a difficult time with their conflicting feelings for each other, Ridge and Quinn discuss how to best handle the situation. Worried about Quinn’s emotional wellbeing and erratic behavior, Ivy shares her concerns with Katie.
Steffy is touched by the ultimate sacrifice that Wyatt has been willing to make for the sake of her happiness. Frustrated by not being able to get in touch with Steffy, Liam decides to follow through with his part of the ultimatum that he issued.

With his broken heart in his hand, Wyatt goes to Quinn and Eric to tell them about the current state of his and Steffy’s marriage. The group at Forrester Creations is stunned when Ridge voluntarily admits that Quinn has become an extreme asset to the company.
When questioned about his sudden change in attitude towards Quinn, Ridge credits the trip to San Francisco. Quinn suggests an idea to Eric that she thinks will bring the Forrester family back together.
