The South African Sports Awards (SASA) recognise and honour individuals and teams who have excelled both on and off the field from 1 September, 2016 to 31 August, 2017.

The coveted Sports Star of the Year award will be contested this year by Luvo Manyonga (athletics)‚ Wayde van Niekerk (athletics)‚ Caster Semenya (athletics)‚ Percy Tau (football) and Zolani Tete (boxing).

presenters did good bt something was wrong with the auto Q what what don't know how it's called bt you could tell they were reading maybe was lower than normal
