Botho confides her conflicted feelings to Eshe and Jade. Eshe warns Tladi not to get involved with Benina so he brushes her off.
Benina turns her attention to Tongai, who catches her stealing from Mmamosa. He returns the stolen object to the office and ends up back in Mmamosa's clutches.
Sara hijacks Jade's farewell celebration, angering Jade and frustrating Eshe, who is sick of all the drama. Lebona gets his first archery lesson and is surprisingly good at it.

Botho and Justice get home to find Warona gone. After a night of heavy drinking Justice refuses to take responsibility. When Botho gets angry with him he nearly hits her.
Justice learns that Benina has been arrested for shoplifting and wants to get rid of her. So does Eshe. But Lehasa fights for Benina and she stays. Justice agrees to give insider betting tips to Smokes.

Justice is in a turmoil when Benina is put under house arrest and has to wear an ankle monitor. He tries to replace her at the sports meet with Tongai but Smokes vetoes it.
Lily organizes a birthday party for Sara, who floors everybody when she confesses that this is her first birthday party and explains why she's such a sugar bandit.
Wheelchair-bound Lebona announces, at the sports meet, that he won't be coaching because he has set his heart on achieving glory at the 2020 Paralympics.

Jade and Eshe leave ASA and Tladi struggles to cope as solo coach. Benina offers to help, then Sara and Lily inspire Lebona to be an alternatively-enabled athletics coach.
Justice chokes Smokes when he suggests match fixing - Tongai being forced to lose - for a bet. Then he accepts a bet with Mmamosa to keep boxing if Tongai wins his next match.
Botho finds Anna’s diaries and learns that Anna was leaving Justice for her lover named “X” the day she died. When Botho asks Justice about it he gets angry and tells her to let it go. Ashanti steals Justice’s toothbrush for a DNA test.

The fight between ‘Crocodile’ Dhlamini and Tongai ‘The Body’ is on. ASA athletes watch on TV in Justice's office and his house. Crocodile gets the upper hand. Justice goes nuts; boxing's future at ASA depends on a Tongai win.
Then Crocodile insults Tongai who unleashes his rage and it looks like he will win. Smokes is there, watching coldly. So is Crocodile's wife. But close to the end of Round 6...

Mmamosa, Justice, Lehasa, Tladi and Ashanti are at odds over who should take responsibility for the tragedy that occurred at the fight whilst trying to ride out the PR storm. Tladi tries to quit ASA but Justice convinces him not to. Tongai returns to the academy; some athletes are on his side, some are vehemently against him.

Lehasa gets Justice out of one of Mmamosa worst schemes yet by dissuading the board members to close down ASA. Ashanti and Tladi reconnect when Ashanti reveals that she’s considering going back to the US to look for her father. Tongai reaches out to Ellie and finds some peace in the light of Crocodile's death. Sara is revealed as a cyber bully and is sidelined further.

When Justice is stuck between a rock and a hard place, he finds a way out by crossing the line. Who is the new Justice? Tladi comes up with a brilliant idea to save the academy. In the process, Ashanti makes a shocking discovery. Mbazo gives Tongai some cathartic advice.

Ashanti's world crashes when she realises Justice has left everything to Botho in his will. It's the final proof. She's not his daughter. The sisters wade through Anna's diaries, looking for a clue as to who Ashanti's father can be. They unearth another horror.
The day Anna told Justice she was leaving, she died in that horrific car crash. Now a new question tortures them. What did Justice have to do with Anna's death? Ashanti can't take this anymore.
Tladi brings Justice comes home dead-drunk, chased by demons, that refer to possible terrible deeds if one judges by the words tumbling from his drunken stupor...

Ashanti reveals that she knows she is not Justice's daughter and leaves for America to find her real father. Botho and Lehasa canvas for votes to get Justice nominated as Coach of the Year, to reconcile him with Ashanti and save him from Mmamosa.
Mmamosa canvasses for Lebona to be nominated as Coach of the Year, using influence, subtle threats and money to get her way. Benina races through Justice's grueling schedule of fights and Justice earns his rewards from Smokes, who raises Mmamosa's suspicions.
