They are using cheap and tacky gimmicks to appear edgy or maybe it's desperation to trend. Skeem Saam doesn't have to resort to nudity and overt sexuality in order to get tweets. This shows the blatant disrespect that Mfundi Vundla has for his viewers. He will NEVER hold us in any regard because we kept his show alive after his 2014 fuckery. So he will continue the disrespect and disregard. Maybe it's because he spent many years in America. He is liberal. This is AFRICA! We ain't with the shits. The show is an unholy mess! I'm done ranting.

... and if you didn't notice, the producers of this show have always went with what is trending in SA. So it is the society that inspires them to write certain stories. Like the xenophobic storyline whereby Namhla got her hands burnt. This has got nothing to do with Mfundi having spent some time in America in exile. By the way, Generations has always had a western aspect since it's inception and other soaps like Scandal followed suit. In real life, Urban SA also has a western background.

@show-time, there is literally nothing you can say to change my mind. This is a family show we do not need to be subjected to excessive sex scenes. It is unnecessary and does NOTHING for the quality of the show. And that is why 90% of viewers are angry and even pleading with the producers. This is unnecessary! And no matter how much you deny it. Even you know that the show is being grotesque. I am a Generations fan, not a stan. That means I WILL call them out when they are *bleep!* up.

Also my reference to being African did not insinuate that there are no hoes in Africa. I am saying that our parents are way more conservative and less comfortable with having to watch sex scenes with their children. No matter how old they are! They can play Generations at 22:00 or 23:00 if they want it to be THAT type of show. Just saying.

I didn't believe it at the time but the events of the last few weeks tell me that Juju might have been right. They don't give a fcuk about this show. And lately neither do I. Trash with no solid storyline.

Copy and Paste article from TimesLive: The SABC is set to meet with the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) and the producers of Generations: The Legacy after explicit content was shown on the popular soapie recently. The soapie came under scrutiny last week after a storyline which saw two of the characters engage in bedroom foreplay resulted in complaints at the BCCSA. The SABC later announced that it had scrapped the week's episodes on its Saturday omnibus because of the complaints. Speaking to TshisaLIVE , SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said that it would be meeting with producers and the BCCSA to discuss the offending storyline. "We have noted the complaints that were laid with both us and the BCCSA. We decided to not air the episodes from last week because some of them were the episodes which we received the complaints about and we wanted to show that we take those complaints seriously. "Naturally we are concerned by the complaints but we will engage with the BCCSA to understand the complaints and also with the producers to understand the reasons for the storyline. We want to get the whole picture before we make any decisions about the show," Kaizer said. He said that while discussions were underway, the show would continue "as normal". "We won't be cancelling Generations. It will resume as normal until we have made a decision," he added.

I think Haley only has a small role because you know white people have no permanent place on Generations. So don't raise your hopes on seeing her full time. I'm glad that Fana is getting some dramatic storylines. The accident scene was badly directed or edited. I can't decide which.

I like Thabi so much! She really fits to stay permanently or for quite a long time. She's beautiful, tall, a decent actress and importantly she speaks setswana. She would have been a perfect Moroka wife. The producers need to change their mind and keep her or else they'll lose Motsoaledi to the highest bidder. She's a diamond in the rough.

Yes @Max, I hated the last 2-3 years of the old show. Bongi Ndaba had lost the plot. The show was getting dragged on twitter every night for being whack. I remember rejoicing when Mfundi said he was going to start from scratch. I feel like they are losing the plot again. Slowly but ever so surely.

If this show is trash, why is your ass watching every weekday? It doesn't make any flipping sense at all. It's a question that I keep asking these vilifiers and not a single one of them gives an answer. They'd rather make desperate comparisons with other shows and move their vilification in circles. I mean, etv has a brilliant line-up, Mzansi Magic is always on the groove, yet a small band of twitter cupcakes have the energy to vent every chance they get. They are not going to hashtag about their supposed favourite shows, but Generations. Well, let the money pile up for the producers. It's a business.

I agree @Dezicles, 2017 is the worst compared to the previous 2 years, the show feels so stagnant ugh there were days I was actually more interested in watching Uzalo than Gen (I hate that Uzalo show so much. I'm even ashamed I'm even talking about it sis) but really, they need to step it up. @Show-Time comparisons are healthy, it shows how the show is doing compared to other shows and it's not great bruh, it's just NOT! 2016 was so interesting for me, from January.. Polygamy, Xenophobia, Mamlambo, Wandile's transition, the Mabaso/ Cele introduction, The love triangle between Mazwi, Sphe and Nolwazi, the discovery of Amo, the Angola storyline and it ended with the incredible human trafficking storyline. Last year was top notch bar a few boring months but overall it was million times better than whatever we are seeing now.

Yeah despite the story, which I think has just started becoming better, the acting these past episodes has been very good wow... Smanga, Sphe, Bafana, Mrekza, Jack, Zitha, Tau, Wandile and Nandi have been nailing it. Whew the show truly shines when bad seeds like Namhla are nowhere to be found haha. Jack is such a weak and boring villain, I think it's safe to say both Tau and Gaddafi>>>> Jack. I just can't believe he has so many fans who fear him yet he's always outsmarted by Tau and outpaced by Kumkani.

Was relatable when Noluntu drugged Mawande for "siding" with the Dlomos? Was it relatable when Dlomo lost Afri Media to Mashaba as if it was an ATM transaction? Gen has alway been at the forefront of creating compelling stories and other soaps have been following suit. Not every plot is relatable in a soap.

The same Jack that got to know the secret of Gadaffi and Tshidi and used it against them? The same Jack that once snatched Tshidi with a kiss in front of Gadaffi?

And whatever people do to Kumkani, he always comes out stronger each time. He destroyed Tau when he poisoned Mary, swaped babies at a hospital and kept one as his, kidnapped Karabo and cut off her toe, and had everyone at the Moroka househld have their own personal bodyguard... in fear of him. He destroyed Tshidi when she strayed from their plan of taking down Jack and fell for him instead, she came back to him... broke. He virtually destroyed Jack's marriage when he exposed him for cheating on his wife with Tsidi. He took back his drug making business when it was taken away from him and physically fought for it. He destroyed the Russians by stealing their money. When Karabo and Tau were too tame to play along in his quest to take Jack down, he destroyed him single handedly by kidnapping his acting CEO and semi- exposing Jack for what he did, and sent the bastard to jail.

He, like Jack always bounce back from setbacks but Jack is a one-trick pony. Always threatens to kill and blackmail people. I don't remember him blackmailing Zondo when he was sent to prison for the murder of Karishma, they made a deal. I don't remember him blackmailing anyone when he was a drunk after he flew the country after being exposed by Tau for stealing a baby, they struck a deal that they would help each other take down the Angolan.

So now Jack has resorted to framing people lmao seriously!!!???... it's such an amateur move done by crazies like Thabiso. Never mind that this "framing" of his is so weak! I doubt anything will come from it.He should learn to face his enemies straight like my fave Kumkani!

Loved the episode as well. Top notch acting from Moopi Mothibeli, Rapulana Seiphemo, Vusi Kunene, Musa Ngema and Duma Mnqobi. These guys nailed every scene.

Will Nandi expose crazy Sphe .i really hope so.Poor Tau everyone is turning against him but at least Zitha is standing by him through all this. The acting is so good .Rapulana is a force .i am glad we get to see him on a new show sunday Tjovitjo

I laughed yesterday at Sphe telling Mazwi that her mom is gone crazy and mommy also saying same thing...Hahahah

Am hating Sphe's role, it was an arrnged marriage for goodness sake, why would it change now. Why drug your own child for a man to love you.

Mazwi knows very well that Rori is not his, but why is he still playing along. Is it a game for him to stay on as Moroka heir.

Response to Jack... Tau is not nothing without the Morokas, its the other way round. The Morokas wont be able to sustain their legacy without Tau
