Craig Lucas wins The Voice SA 2, Team Kahn owns the format

23-year-old Capetonian Craig Lucas became the second South African to win The Voice SA on Sunday night (9 July) during the Season 2 live finale.

Craig's win means that coach Kahn Morbee has the monopoly on the show as the only coach to win the series. #RichardStirton

Craig's win was preceded by a cacophony of voting irregularities which have played out over the past two weeks - you know the drill on all the popularity boosting that's been happening that resulted in the inflated Top 7 finale.

Craig may have won but ultimately the final seven can look forward to singing the national anthem at a SuperSport sporting event near you.

well its the vote that counts bt judging based on talent he shouldn't of won the runner up should have won. . bt he deserves it cz he is a dynamic singer i guess

Yep I'm happy with the result. Craig has a great voice and is the most "contemporary' of the finalists. The runner up has a power house voice but rode on nostalgia a bit too much IMO. I must say I often felt that Kahn Morbee was tone deaf in his judgements but kudos to him on choosing another winner.
