King of Hearts ends on Zee World this month (on Wednesday, 12 July) and will be replaced by Lies of the Heart immediately after, in the 21h00 timeslot.
The series follows the story of Urmi, a courageous young woman who
thinks her dreams are fulfilled when her marriage to Samrat is arranged.
BUT, on her wedding night, she discovers that she's married to a monster when she discovers that Samrat is an arrogant, chauvinistic, abusive husband.
The series follows Urmi as she fights to reclaim her dignity and freedom from her ruthless husband and indifferent in-laws.

Episode 1
The wedding preperations for Urmi and Samrat's wedding are underway. Urmi's cousin gets insulted by an unknown man in the crowd, little does she know who the man really is. Urmi is lost in her own dream world.

Episode 2
Trisha indirectly tells Urmi's family that Samrat isn't the person they think he is. Samrat feels that his elder brother is very irresponsible towards the business. Urmi remembers what Trisha said and she gets worried.

Urmi's family performs the Haldi ceremony. Samrat refuses to be a part of the ceremony and it causes him to leave in anger. Shashi lies to Gaurav about Samrat's Haldi and she asks Ishan to cover up for her.

Urmi is left dissapointed when she finds out Samrat wasn't part of the Haldi ceremony. Samrat tells his family that he refuses to marry Urmi after she made Ishan apologise.

Samrat refuses to change his decision of not marrying Urmi, that is until Trisha goes to confront him. Gaurav tries hard to make his father realise that Samrat has ulterior motives.

Trisha tells her parents all about her conversation with Samrat. Urmi texts Samrat and he refuses to text her back, lucky for him Ishan replies on his behalf.

Episode 7
Urmi has to do a feeding ritual and Anu invites Ishan. Shashi visits Urmi’s family and the family start to worry as soon as she arrives. Shashi makes an expensive demand from Urmi’s family.

Urmi is very heartbroken to see her family stressing about the money for the gold chains. Urmi refuses to marry Samrat and he wants to know from his family what changed. He finds out about Shashi's demands and forces her to go apologise.

During the sangeet ceremony Samrat insults Trisha by throwing money at her. Sashi feels very insulted by this and Samrat decides to have a chat with Urmi about this.

Samrat wants Trisha to not attend the wedding and tells Urmi that Trisha doesn’t like him. Urmi believes his side and questions trisha. It’s the day of the wedding and all Urmi can do, is dream about a happy life and future with Samrat.

It’s the big day and Samrat’s friends ask the couple to ask each other a difficult question. Samrat tells Urmi how happy he is that she sent Trisha away. Samrat begins to show his true colours as soon as the wedding is over.

Urmi starts to see a different side of Samrat. Saroj accidentally hears Trisha’s views on Samrat. Urmi dreams of a perfect wedding night but instead, she is woken up by a very different samrat.
