The police start to search the Garg residence for evidence. Charu states to everyone that unless Mayank withdraws his divorce case, she will not get them released from jail. Gunjan gets an unexpected visitor.

Sangeeta goes to warn Charu and her mother to withdraw the case. Akash reveals to Gunjan that he came with a marriage proposal for her. Will Gunjan accept it?

Rachna and Shail oppose Gunjan's decision to get married. It becomes clearly visible that Rajeev is attracted to Gunjan. Aditya comes to meet Gunjan and her family.

Mayank looses his job and has no idea how to tell his family about it. Akash warns Mayank to stay away from Gunjan. Charu finds Mayank's termination letter.

Charu tells everyone that Mayank no longer has a job. Mayank tells Rachna that he has a plan to get rid of Charu for good. Vihaan figures out that Rajeev is in love with Gunjan.

Charu starts getting strange messages and calls which leave her panicking. Rajeev resigns from his post at the college. Mayank tells Gunjan that he will attend all her wedding functions.

Chhaya tells Rajeev that Gunjan is getting married. Charu desperately wants to find out who the blackmailer is. Gunjan gets engaged to Aditya in the presence of Mayank.

Rachna overhears Charu threatening Gunjan. Mayank tells Rachna that today is Charu's last day in the house and they put their final plan into action. Will it be game over for Charu?

Mayank and Rachna tell the rest of the family members about Charu. Rachna tries her best to convince Gunjan to go back to Mayank, but Gunjan refuses. Rachna decides to take matters into her own hands.

Seema devises a plan to get money out of Akash. Gunjan and Mayank's wedding preperations are underway. Vihaan plans something special for Rachna, little does he know what was going to happen next.

Sangeeta manages to find out that Gunjan's friends organised a combined bachelor and bachelorette party and it causes a lot of drama, especially when she finds out her husband is also involved.

Seema manages to get the keys of the house from Shail. Gunjan's aunt puts Seema and her aunt in their place. Vihaan disguises himself as the dress designer's assistant, just to see Rachna.

Seema and her Aunt continue to trouble Shail. It's the Haldi ceremony and Mayank demands that Shail puts the paste on him before his own mother. Thanks to Seema's carelessness, Gunjan's jewellery gets stolen.

Prabhu demands that Seema hands over the keys to Shail and he also reveals that he has the jewellery. The day of Gunjan and Mayank's wedding is finally here. Seema and her aunt try to force their old traditions onto the wedding.

Mayank spoils the plans of his mother and her aunt as they were on the verge of belittling Akash. Gunjan gets emotional when she watches the video her mom left her. Shail also goes against Seema and her aunt.

Shail argues with everyone just so that Akash can give away Gunjan. At long last Gunjan and Mayank are married.

Episode 9
The guests have arrived but Gunjan is nowhere to been seen. Seema gets upset and she tells Mayank that Gunjan is only his wife and not her daughter in law. Once again Seema's plans are spoiled, but this time by her own husband.
