16 Feb 2017 17:03

Tvsa do you know if Ferguson Films submitted for nomination?

Scorpio11
17 Feb 2017 06:31

I'm so happy for Lawrence Maleka for the best presenter nomination. He really did great on that show

Scorpio11
17 Feb 2017 06:32

And I'm happy that the nominations/nominees are not popularity/twitter based

Show-Time
17 Feb 2017 18:34

What *bleep!* is this? Canned shows are nominated, some black produced shows shunned, black films only considered for makeup and other *bleep!*. hahahaha! These contentious awards must be rivaled by a credible competitor. Too much dick sucking behind the scenes of SAFTAs. What a joke!

Ingenuity
20 Feb 2017 08:31

I think John Kani said it best, the SAFTAS are not a popularity contest, but all about quality.

qavile
20 Feb 2017 09:10

i remember us here arguing and me saying no show comes near #HighRollers in term of acting/writing,execution + production. .and some said im crazy cz scandal is the one...sabc made a big mistake with #HighRollers

max85
20 Feb 2017 09:35

Even if the Road and High Rollers were cancelled they are still quality shows .John Kani is spot on @Ingenuity.twitter likes to hype up shows ,am glad SAfTAs are seeing through the lies .

deziclesthagawd
22 Feb 2017 09:51

High Rollers should take EVERYTHING it is nominated for! How is Uzalo even nominated for best script writing? lol.

K. Chill
23 Feb 2017 03:34

No Ferguson Films? Sooooo disappointed

TVSA Team
24 Feb 2017 10:15

>>Tvsa do you know if Ferguson Films submitted for nomination?<<

We've been investigating and it turns out they didn't enter the awards. We've asked them for comment on why - will keep you posted when we hear.

max85
24 Feb 2017 10:42

thank you TVSA so must stop saying they were robbed .they did not submit ,its their loss.

deziclesthagawd
24 Feb 2017 13:55

Last year they submitted and were snubbed big time. I guess they don't fxck with the saftas after that.

Show-Time
27 Feb 2017 10:23

The Fergusons must've known that something is sinister behind those awards just like what an industry veteran such as Duma Ndlovu eluded to. Nobody can dispute that SABC shows such as JAB, 90 PLEIN STREET, KEEPING SCORE are quality, well written and well acted. But the curse is they are not commissioned for private-owned broadcasters such as etv and M-NET's Mzansi Magic where these sinister forces are based.

deziclesthagawd
27 Feb 2017 22:17

@show-time the Saftas have no credibility! no one can tell me otherwise.

TVSA Team
28 Feb 2017 14:17

No word from Ferguson Films yet - they're being verrrry quiet about it.

fratpack9
08 Mar 2017 15:01

My GAHWD, how many times is Highrollers has been nominated, i have lost count. Me and my evil-self thinks this is just a ploy to save High ROLLERS. *insert faint laughter*
