Actress and R&B singer KB Motsilanyane used to be in our homes every night of the week on e.tv's Backstage and Rhythm City and now she's making her nightly comeback with a starring role on 7de Laan.
KB's been signed to play Lesedi, a permanent new lead character on the show.
Lesedi's a feisty and powerful lawyer who arrives with a punch of girl power to represent Cecile, the mother of Vince's (Jacques Blignaut) love child Christopher.
Chantal Stanfield will reprise her role as Cecile and child actor Jiptael Langeveldt arrives with her as six-year-old Christopher.
And Vince needs to B.E.W.A.R.E. because Lesedi's at the top of her game when it comes to being a lawyer and she's a firecracker for her clients. She'll fight tirelessly for any cause that she believes in
but... this isn't all she wants.
She wants to connect. She wants to find The One and she wants a family so Die Laan's going to mean much more to her than another court case.
She makes her debut on 3 April, a month after 7de Laan's 4000th celebratory episode, which will air on Thursday, 9 March. It marks the show's 17th year on air and the production has gone all out to make it a splashy affair.
The episode is directed by long-time 7de Laan director Henry Mylne and was filmed over two days. It begins with Xander and Vanessa preparing for their wedding and features some familiar faces who return to mark the occasion. Keep a lookout in the TVSA highlights for a reminder on the day.
