Lindi defends her decision to ask JB to help the family get Bassie back. JB doesn’t disappoint as he comes guns blazing with his connection to track down Ngema who has kidnapped Bassie.
During the search for Bassie, Lindi and JB "bond" and seal their connection with the kiss as they find Bassie, with Sandile watching.
Ngema tries to avoid being tracked down with Bassie as he moves her to different locations. When JB finally tracks them in a moving bus, Ngema tries to make a final dramatic escape with Bassie but fails and falls to his death from a moving bus.
JB wins again as he gets Lindi back and meets his son, Masego for the first time. Lindi’s family welcome him with open arms.
Bassie comes home to her half brother and sister as the identity of her biological father is finally revealed.
