With Welcome dead, the Simelane family is finally able to relax and draw breath.
Released from the asylum, Thembi returns to Bulalela to reclaim her family home which has been left to ruin since the fire, 19 years ago. Palesa visits her there to formalize Dumile’s adoption agreement and winds up staying longer than expected.
Back home, Dumile discovers Mnqobi’s latest dirty secret.
